Outback prairie dust is a unique Australian spice blend in a cajun style with Tasmanian Pepperleaf & Wild Thyme. It has a fiery smoky flavour.

Prairie dust is a versatile spice blend that can be used in many ways. Don't be afraid to experiment!

  • Season your steak or chicken
  • Sprinkle on wedges or whole potato
  • Serve as is with bread oil & dukkah platters
  • Use with salsa or cream cheese to make a spicy dip

Why not use this at home when entertaining international visitors or testing out flavours as you develop your Masterchef skills. It also makes a great Australian gift for fans of the Aussie bbq.

Available in 50 gram packs.

Our customers are always coming back for more of this Cajun style seasoning with native flavours. A favourite dish is using it on a beautiful piece of Barramundi fillet (with the skin on). Oil the fish not the pan and then apply a liberal quantity of Prairie Dust on both sides of the fish. Cook the fish skin side down first, in a very hot pan. The Prairie Dust helps to seal the flavour and moisture into the fish. A winner!

This unique Australian food has been sourced from a Country NSW specialist in Australian Native Foods. Aboriginal owned and made from start to finish they manufacture their products in house.

Traditional bush tucker is innovative and unique and are naturally adapted to Australia’s environment. It is ecologically sound, and they are more resistant to Australia’s extreme weather temperatures and rainfall.
