At Bits of Australia, we are always interested in discovering exceptional products that are genuinely made in Australia and complement our range.
We work with selected makers and artists whose products suit our stores, online audience and customer base. From time to time, we may offer an initial consignment trial for products that feel like a strong fit for Bits of Australia.
This is not a rental shelf or paid space arrangement. It is a curated retail opportunity where selected products are professionally presented within our Australian Made range of gifts, souvenirs, art and lifestyle products.
If you are an Australian maker or artist looking for greater exposure, consignment may provide a practical way to introduce your products to our established customer base while giving us the opportunity to test demand, pricing, presentation and product fit.
Because our range is carefully curated, not every product will be suitable. We consider each opportunity based on product quality, commercial viability, presentation, pricing, stock availability and fit with our customers.
Products must be:
• Genuinely made in Australia
• Professionally finished and retail-ready
• Commercially priced for retail sale
• Suitable for gifting, tourism, homewares, art, stationery, accessories or authentic Australian lifestyle categories
• Aligned with the quality, values and customer expectations of Bits of Australia
Please note that we are not currently considering candles or greeting cards for consignment.
We do not accept products that are imported, simply repackaged in Australia, designed in Australia but made overseas, white-labelled without clear Australian production, or that use Aboriginal artwork, designs or cultural imagery without clear evidence of appropriate licensing, permission and payment to the artist or relevant Aboriginal-owned/community art centre.
To help us review your products properly, please include the following information when you get in touch:
• A short product overview
• Clear product images
• Recommended retail pricing
• Consignment pricing
• Where and how your products are made in Australia
• Approximate production capacity or availability
• Packaging details
• Website and/or social media links
• A little about you as a maker or artist
Selected products may be accepted for an initial consignment trial, subject to product fit and agreement on terms.
As a guide:
• Products are supplied on consignment, with ownership remaining with the maker until sold
• The supplier is responsible for freight costs to deliver stock to us
• Unsold stock must be collected or returned at the supplier’s cost unless otherwise agreed
• Monthly sales reporting is provided
• Payment is made for sold items once an invoice has been sent to us
• Products must maintain consistent recommended retail pricing across sales channels
For selected consignment products, Bits of Australia provides:
• Presentation within one or more of our Sydney retail stores
• Potential inclusion on our online store, where suitable
• Staff-managed selling through our point of sale system
• Professional merchandising within our curated Australian Made range
• Access to our established customer base
• Customer service, sales processing and general retail handling
• Monthly sales reporting for items sold
Online inclusion is not automatic and will depend on product type, photography, stock availability, shipping suitability and whether the product fits our website range.
Please email us at hello@bitsof.com.au with your product information, pricing and images.
We review opportunities carefully to make sure they are the right fit for our stores, online range and customers. Please allow at least 7 days for a response. Submitting product information does not guarantee acceptance, but we are always happy to hear from Australian makers and artists creating thoughtful, well-made products.
