Please email us at email@example.com within 5 working days if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems.
In order to be eligible for a refund, we must have agreed to the return via email and goods must be returned at your own cost and within 14 days of agreement.
This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been taken out of their packaging, worn or used, damaged after delivery, on the product exclusions list below, if an attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken.
If you purchase a product which is made to order, or was specifically ordered in for you - Bits of Australia will not accept returns or a change of mind.
It is not possible to return food, earrings, skincare, face masks, eye masks, heat packs or sales items unless there are rights under the Australian Consumer Guarantees.
All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer and we recommend that you return the product via Registered post.
You assume any risk of loss, theft or damaged goods during transit; therefore we advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Bits of Australia will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
Refunds are not processed until goods are received by Bits of Australia and confirmed to be in their original condition.
Agreed credits or refunds will be processed less the cost of postage from the original order, any gift wrapping costs we have incurred and a $6.50 handling fee.
Uncollected or Wrong Address Returns
It's important that you use the tracking information that we provide to monitor the progress of your delivery. If products you have ordered are returned to Bits of Australia via the delivery services as uncollected, wrong address or returned by sender, we will contact you and refund the cost of your order less:
- $6.50 handling fee
- the original postage costs
- gift wrapping and handwritten card service costs
We are unable to refund or replace your order if one of the following occurs -
- you or the intended recipient do not pay any international duties and taxes that are due
- an incorrect address has been given
- you, or the recipient has requested the parcel to be left without a signature and it has been lost or stolen
- the item is not collected from the relevant postal service within their standard timescales (generally 10 working days after arrival)
