Lemon Myrtle is one of the most versatile Australian native herbs and spices. The trees are native to rainforests, mostly in Queensland, Australia.

It has a lovely Lemon, Lime and Lemongrass aroma and flavour. Why not use this at home when entertaining international visitors or testing out flavours as you develop your Masterchef skills?!

It works beautifully with baked fish or other seafood dishes. Can be used in Asian stir fries, soups, cheesecake recipes and pancake batter. Infuse it in vinegar and olive oil or use it to 'lift' a green tea or iced tea. Given all it can be used for it makes a great Australian bush tucker gift.

Available in 50 gram packs.

Our Bits of Australia customers like to use it in a green Thai curry. Next time you make one add a teaspoon of this Lemon Myrtle. It will add an additional layer of subtle flavours to the dish!

ThLemon Myrtle has been sourced from a Country NSW specialist in Australian Native Foods. Indigiearth products are Aboriginal from start to finish and they manufacture their products in house.

Before European settlers arrived in Australia, there was a thriving food culture that happily sustained Aboriginal people for tens of thousands of years. It's estimated there are up to 5,000 native food species (almost 20 per cent of Australia’s native flora and fauna) that were utilised by the Aboriginal people.

Traditional bush tucker is innovative and unique and are naturally adapted to Australia’s environment. They are ecologically sound, and they are more resistant to Australia’s extreme weather temperatures and rainfall.
