A stunning piece of art for your home or office.
This authentic Indigenous artwork is from Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. The 122 x 91cm canvas is delivered rolled up for you to choose how and when you want to display it.
The painting is titled Janganpa Jukurrpa (Brush-tail Possum Dreaming). The artist, Judith Nungarrayi Martin was born in Alice Springs Hospital and grew up in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 290 km north-west of Alice Springs. Judith has been painting with the Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation since 1994. As a child she would watch her family paint and listen to their stories. She began painting full time after her three children were all born.
The painting depicts Judith's father's Jukurrpa (Dreamings); Janganpa Jukurrpa (Brush Tail Possum Dreaming). These Dreamings relate directly to the land, its features and the animals and plants that inhabit it.
