Christine Upton live in a small rural town called Corowa that is nestled on the northern banks of the Murray River. She is a master lino block printmaker and her work ranges from abstract to representational, focusing on the exploration of patterns through lines, colours, and printing techniques. 

This print is of the Eastern Rosella which is a species of parrot found throughout south-eastern Australia, from Queensland to Victoria and south-eastern South Australia. Also found in eastern Tasmania.
