Christine Upton live in a small rural town called Corowa that is nestled on the northern banks of the Murray River. She is a master lino block printmaker and her work ranges from abstract to representational, focusing on the exploration of patterns through lines, colours, and printing techniques. 

This print is of the cheeky Sulphur Crested Cockatoo which is a large white parrot. It has a dark grey-black bill, a distinctive sulphur-yellow crest and a yellow wash on the underside of the wings.
