A striking original Aboriginal painting by Warlpiri artist Glorine Nungarrayi Martin, measuring 76 x 30cm. Created using traditional dot painting techniques, the artwork reflects the rich visual language of contemporary Australian Aboriginal art, where pattern, colour and movement express stories of Country and cultural knowledge.
Glorine Nungarrayi Martin comes from a strong family of artists and is the daughter of Samson Japaljarri Martin, one of the founding members of Warlukurlangu Artists, and Uni Nampijinpa Martin, a respected artist. She is also the older sister of Andrea Nungarrayi Martin, a well-known artist and long-time Warlukurlangu worker. Glorine grew up at Wakurlpa Outstation, north-west of Yuendumu, and her work reflects her deep connection to Warlpiri Country and cultural traditions.
At 76 x 30cm, this elongated format creates a unique and versatile artwork, ideal for narrower wall spaces or as part of a gallery-style display. It’s a beautiful piece of Australian Aboriginal art that brings colour, story and connection to your home or office.
Painted on canvas and supplied unstretched, the artwork offers flexibility when framing to suit your home. As the painting has been created from multiple directions, it can be stretched and displayed in different orientations.
