Sun orchid is widespread throughout the south-west of Western Australia in the moist forest and woodland areas. It has a single long thick leathery, strap-like leaf and produces stunning, sweetly scented blue to purple flowers from August to October. Each stem can be up to a metre tall and covered with flowers.
