Melissa Napangardi Williams began painting with Warlukurlangu Artist Centre in 2004. She paints her family stories that were passed down to her by her family and their ancestors before them for millennia: her Father’s Wanakiji Jukurrpa (Bush Tomato Dreaming), Yarla Jukurrpa (Bush Potato Dreaming) and Yuparli Jukurrpa (Bush Banana Dreaming) and her Mother’s Wardapi Jukurrpa (Goanna Dreaming). She uses an unrestricted palette to develop a modern interpretation of traditional motifs with her own ideas of design and pattern.

The original Aboriginal artwork makes a unique Australian gift for family and friends overseas for special birthdays or as a wedding present. Or, add some beautiful Australian wall art to your home - it is perfect for entrance halls, the office, dining room and lounge room
