Limited edition Australian made wooden earrings.

The unique earrings have been made with sustainably grown Australian hoop pine plywood and features a printed portion of 'Ngapa Jukurrpa' (WaterDreaming) by Evelyn Nangala Robertson.

Evelyn was born in 1986 and grew up in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 290km north-west of Alice Springs where she was born. She started painting with the Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation in 2007, and her husband Kenneth Jungarrayi Martin also paints with Warlukurlangu Artists. Evelyn paints her Grandfather’s, Father’s and Grandmother’s Jukurrpa, Dreaming stories which relate to her land, its features and the plants and animals that inhabit it.

Being a natural product the wood will have variances in colour and grain.

The stud earrings have surgical steel findings and are approximately 1cm square.

The beautiful earrings come in a small box with information about the artist and artwork.

To care for the jewellery keep it in the protective packaging and wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.

Royalties from this product directly benefit the Aboriginal artist Evelyn Nangala Robertson and her community.
