It's our 1 year anniversary! What a year it has been. We have grown to a family of over 35 Australian Makers and now stock over 700 different  Australian Made products from all over the country. We have been involved in a number of exciting events and our products have been featured in several newspapers, magazines and blogs. Here is a snapshot of the year that has been and some exciting news that means more great gifts for you!




Bits of Australia introduces the Gift Box Collection

Many of our customers have expressed interest in ready-made gift boxes they can send to loved ones near or far. Just in time for our 1 year anniversary we have created a collection of divine gift boxes for a range of different occasions and people in your life. There are currently 10 different options to choose from and more are on the way!

    When you choose a Bits Gift Box you don't need to worry about gift wrapping as each box is beautifully presented with ribbon and a tag or card depending on which box you select.

    We Loved Being Featured in A Nylon Singapore Photo Shoot

    One of our most exciting product features this year happened in January when our adorable soft toy rangestarred along side one of the world's leading digital influencers and young entrepreneurs, Nicole Warne, in a Nylon Singapore cover story photo shoot.

    Our cuddly kangaroos, koalas, wombats, kookaburras and cockatoos looked as cuddly as ever surrounding Nicole in the amazing shot.

    Our Top 10 Bits

    In our first year of business our customers have bought an amazing mix of Australian Made products and we love that no order is ever the same. Customers have loved Tasmanian Eco Beads, Bush Tucker inspired earrings to Blokes Soap.

    Among our top 10 best sellers are the Koala Snuggles Flat Britt Bear, the Australian Cotton Face Cloths, and the Bushland Costmetic Bags.


    Kangaroo Leather Bookmark

    Also featuring in the top 10 favourites are the Kangaroo leather bookmark, the Aussie Slang Tea Towels and the Olive Oil Block Soaps.

    The Australian River Red Gum Stylus Pen, Leaf Necklaces and Platypus Keyring also starred in our top ten selling gifts. But the top selling Australian made gift for our first year in business is... the Sydney Harbour Bridge Coathanger - a practical and quirky souvenir to remind you and your friends of your travels to Australia.

    Our products and website have been featured this past year in the Sun Herald,,, and the Australian Gift Guide.

    We celebrated the things you love most about Australia and Easter Down Under during our #bestbitsofaustralia and #bitsofeaster contests. We were blown away by some of the amazing photos our fans and followers posted  - from rainforests and shipwrecks to fairy bread and butterflies.
