The beautiful artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity stamped and signed from Warlukurlangu Artist Centre, an Aboriginal owned art centre in the Northern Territory. We work directly with the art centre so you can feel confident in the artwork provenance and that you have ethically purchased an incredible artwork.

Senita Napangardi Graniites was born in 1990 at Alice Springs Hospital, her mother Jill Morton was from Ti Tree a community located 193 km from Alice Springs, her father Grant Granites was from Yuendumu, approximately 300km from Alice Springs in Central Australia. Her Grandmother an important elder and one of the founders of Warlukurlangu Artist was Dolly Daniels.
Senita is part of an exciting new wave of talent emerging from Warlukurlangu. It is one of the longest running and most successful Aboriginal-owned art centres in Central Australia.Warlukurlangu Artists are famous for their gloriously colourful acrylic paintings, and Senita employes bold colour combinations.
Senita spent most of her childhood in Murray Bridge in South Australia where she lived with her paternal grandmother and other members of the family. In early 2001 the family moved back to Yuendumu, where she continued her schooling, in early 2008 she started painting at the Art Centre, mainly following her grandmother’s dreamings and stories (jukurrpa).
Every painting is accompanied by a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity which tells the story relating to the painting and some information about the artist.
Established in 1985 Warlukurlangu is a not-for-profit organisation that is 100% Aboriginal-owned by its artists from the remote desert communities of Yuendumu and Nyirripi in Central Australia. Warlukurlangu Artists is famous for its gloriously colourful acrylic paintings. The art centre has a national and international profile and its art has been featured in hundreds of exhibitions and publications in Australia and around the world.
