This gorgeous coffee cup featuring a koala sleeping on a branch is a collaboration with Australian artist Renee Treml and ceramicist Kim Wallace.
American-born Renée Treml moved to Australia in 2007, where she was immediately captivated by the unique wildlife in this country. Drawing on her background in ecology, Renee’s illustrations capture our favourite Australian animals beautifully, each one displaying their own unique character and charm.
Kim Wallace and her team have handmade the cup in Noosa Queensland. The stoneware cup has been slipcast and glazed by hand, creating a gorgeous organic feel with no two pieces exactly the same. Renee's illustration decal print has been applied by hand and fired again in the kiln for maximum durability.
All pieces are high-fired for durability, food-safe, dishwasher and oven safe. Our ceramic cups and mugs make a unique gift for someone who enjoys a special coffee or tea experience. Each piece is handmade in Noosaville Queensland by a small team of creatives.
