Bush Tucker Jewellery
Made on the Central Coast in NSW by Simone Dennis, these wearable artworks are handmade from kiln fired glass and feature colourful Aboriginal Bush Tucker designs.
"Bush Tucker" refers to the native Australian bush food that has been gathered by the Aboriginal people for thousands of years and used in meals and for medicine. These Bush Tucker designs originated from the Central Desert of Australia in the form of a painting by Nampitjimpa (kuminjay). The artwork has been transformed with permission into beautiful fabric and talented Aussie jewellery designer Simone Dennis has used this to create her beautiful range of Bush Tucker jewellery.
